Logic System introduce the VA-Com cabling system
With an eye to the future and the introduction of Ethos LA just around the corner, Logic System are pleased to introduce the VA-Com multicore cabling system. Aiming to simplify cabling on larger systems the basis of the system is a flexible 4 way eight core speaker cable snake that can be used in a variety of ways dependant upon the fan out used at its termination. Snakes are terminated in heavy duty eight pin female to male connectors, enabling cables to be joined end to end to extend runs. Snakes are available in 5m or 25m lengths and can be combined with the following fan outs
? Way fan ?Two bi-amp feeds for VA cabinets. Typical application would be to feed six VA cabinets in a flown array or ground stack with one cable snake.
? Way fan ?A single bi-amp for VA and 2 single feeds for Nd315/Nd218. Typical application would be to feed a compact ground stack of three VA, Nd315 and Nd218 with one cable snake.
? Way fan ?Four single feeds for Nd315/Nd218. Four Nd315/Nd218 cabinets cab be fed from a single speaker snake.
Cable fans can also be connected directly to rack output panels when cable extension is not required.
To enable a great degree of flexibility, the VA-Com output panel contains four VA-Com output sockets. These are configured from left to right as follows:

昖A output; two VA bi-amp outputs combined on one connector.
昍ight four way output to drive a compact Ethos VA Groundstack.
The VA Com output panel retains direct NL4 connectors, so a mixture of VA-Com and NL4 cabling can be used, if desired.
